Dear Me The App

After creating an account/logging in to DearMe, one will be directed to this Home Page. There is a streak feature in the top left corner, with the goal of motivating the user to return each day to journal. The calendar in the center allows the user to see which days you responded to and which were skipped. Below the calendar are two buttons. The "Upload Entry" button allows the user to access the Journal Page. The "Download Entries" button allows the user to download all of their past responses to their local files on their device. From there they can share the PDF document, or just keep it as a backup.

Upon tapping the "Upload Entry", you will be directed to this Journal Page. Here is where the user will respond the the prompt. The prompt itself is different each day, and it will be release at a random time each day. Bellow the text box where the user would respond, is an Anxiety Section. This will remain the same each day, in order to track the subjects that cause them the most anxiety over a period of time. In this section the user may click as many subjects as they would like. After completing both sections, the user may submit their response. This entire process should take no more than two to three minutes.

Once the user taps on a day on the calendar that is red (meaning they responded that day), this uneditable page will pop up. The user will be able to see the prompt, their response to it, and the subjects that caused them the most anxiety on that day. This feature is intended to make the digital journal feel more similar to a traditional, paper journal.
